The US Senate has voted to advance a key stablecoin-regulating invoice after Democrat Senators blocked an try to maneuver the invoice ahead earlier in Could over issues about President Donald Trump’s sprawling crypto empire.

The GENIUS Act was launched on Feb. 4 by US Senator Invoice Hagerty and seeks to control the practically $250 billion stablecoin market — presently dominated by Tether (USDT) and Circle’s USDC (USDC).
